WELCOME TO PORT MACQUARIE JUNIOR RUGBY UNION

The Port Macquarie Junior Rugby Union was started by like-minded people back in 1998. Since its inception the competition has continued to flourish where today we offer Rugby Union to children aged from 5 years of age all the way up to children aged 17 years of age.

Girls under 15's and 17's play 7's on Friday Nights

The Port Macquarie Junior Rugby Union also caters for both boys and girls. We encompass an area from Laurieton in the south, Kempsey in the north and out to Wauchope in the west, and all areas in between. The Port Macquarie Junior Rugby Union continues to offer Rugby Union in a safe family friendly environment. We aim to make sure all the children that play in our competition feel safe and most importantly have FUN.

All games adhere to and follow the Australian Rugby Union Pathway Laws.

The great thing about the competition that the Port Macquarie Junior Rugby Union runs, is its location and times. The competition is held every Friday night at Stuarts Park Port Macquarie. The times are set depending on the age group, with under 6’s and 8’s starting at 5pm then followed by the under 10’s at 5.30pm and the under 12’s at 6.20pm and the girls games kick off at 6.30pm.
